Privacy policy

Nina Beau is a video, livestream, podcast, editing, and social media business based in Houston, Texas. This policy covers book.visualsbybeau.com, including the booking page and package finder, and the information you share with me when you work with me.

When you send a booking request, I receive what you enter in the form:

• Contact details: your name, email, phone number, and business or organization name.
• Dates and location: your preferred and backup dates, start time, flexibility, the shoot location, and travel details.
• Your project: the services and add-ons you choose, payment option, whether you'd like a scope call, shot style, notes, and how you heard about me.

Once you book, I may also receive your signed agreement, invoices and payment status, messages we exchange, and files you send me, like logos, music, or footage.

• To reply to your request and prepare your quote.
• To schedule, plan, and deliver your project.
• To send invoices, agreements, and project updates.
• To keep business, tax, and legal records.

I won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask to be added.

A few trusted services help me run my business. They only receive what they need to do their job:

• Web3Forms: sends your booking request from the form to my email.
• Cloudflare: hosts this website and protects it from spam and attacks.
• Stripe: processes invoices and payments securely.
• Calendly: schedules scope calls, if you book one.
• Email and file sharing: for messages, drafts, and final delivery.

Each service has its own privacy policy. I only share your information with others if the law requires it.

This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.

• Your package plan: when you use the package finder, your answers and plan are saved in your own browser so they carry over to the booking page. Your saved plan expires after 48 hours. This information stays on your device and isn't sent to me unless you submit a booking request.
• Site visits: I may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits. It doesn't use cookies or track you across other sites.

• Storage: 90 days after delivery, project footage is deleted or archived, depending on the scope and size of the project. If you need your footage kept longer, let me know before the 90 days are up. A storage fee may apply.
• Portfolio: I may feature select projects in my portfolio and on social media. If your project needs to stay private, tell me in writing before your shoot.
• People on camera: you're responsible for getting permission from the people you arrange to be filmed. If you appear in my portfolio and want something removed, email me and I'll take it down.

• Requests that don't book: deleted within 12 months.
• Client records: agreements, invoices, and payment records are kept for as long as needed for tax and legal purposes.
• Footage: deleted or archived 90 days after delivery, unless you've arranged longer storage, as described above.

I use secure, password-protected accounts and services, and I only keep what I need. No system is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your information.

You can email me anytime to:

• See the information I have about you.
• Correct or update it.
• Have it deleted, except for records I'm required to keep.

I'll reply within 30 days.

This site and the booking form are for adults booking services. I don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. Minors can appear in projects only with a parent or guardian's permission, arranged by the client.

If I update this policy, I'll change the date at the top of this page.
