Drafts are watermarked. Final files are released once payment is complete.

Booking and payment
  • Retainer: a 50% non-refundable retainer is due when you sign your agreement. Your date is held only once both are complete.
  • Balance: due before final files are released. On projects over $2,000, you can pay the balance in 3 equal parts: on shoot day, at first draft, and at final delivery.
  • Monthly plans: billed in advance on the same date each month. 3-month minimum, then month to month with 30 days' written notice to cancel.
  • Late payments: invoices are due within 7 days. After that, work and delivery pause, and a 5% late fee is added for each week a payment is overdue.
  • Travel: included within 30 miles of Houston. Past that, a flat travel fee based on distance is added to your quote.
  • Disputes: please contact me before disputing a charge. A disputed payment pauses the project and the use of any delivered work until it's resolved.
Cancellations and rescheduling
  • 14 or more days before your date: the retainer is kept. Nothing more is owed.
  • 7 to 13 days before: 75% of the project total is due.
  • Less than 7 days before, or a no-show: 100% of the project total is due.
  • Monthly plans: canceling during the 3-month minimum means the remaining months of the minimum are due.
  • Rescheduling: 1 free reschedule with at least 14 days' notice, to a new date within 90 days. Extra reschedules, or changes with 7 to 13 days' notice, are $150 each. A change with less than 7 days' notice is treated as a cancellation.
  • Weather: outdoor shoots can be moved for free because of unsafe weather, decided together at least 24 hours before.
  • If I have to cancel: because of illness or an emergency, I'll offer a new date. If that doesn't work for you, I'll refund everything you've paid for work not yet delivered, including the retainer.
On shoot day
  • Timing: your booked time starts at the scheduled start, even if things begin late. Extra time is $150 an hour, when my schedule allows.
  • Locations and people: you're responsible for location access, any permits, and permission from the people and places you arrange to be filmed.
  • Seeing the location: at least 72 hours before your shoot, I need access to visit, or clear photos or a video walkthrough of the space.
  • Planning visits: performances, larger events, and livestreams may need a rehearsal or walkthrough. It's included in some packages and a $200 add-on on others. If access isn't available on the agreed date, the visit counts as complete and isn't refunded.
  • Music: licensed music is included for your edits. Music you provide must be licensed by you.
  • Livestreams: streams depend on the venue's internet and the streaming platform. Outages outside my control aren't refundable, and you'll still receive the full recording.
  • Safety: I may pause or end a shoot if conditions become unsafe or the environment is hostile, with no refund for time already booked.
Edits and delivery
  • Revisions: 1 round per video. Send all feedback together within 7 days of receiving your draft. Extra changes are $95 an hour.
  • Approval: if I don't hear back within 14 days of sending a draft, it's considered approved and the final balance is due.
  • New requests: anything outside your package is quoted separately before I start it.
  • Inactive projects: if I can't reach you for 30 days, the project is closed and any remaining balance is due.
  • Footage: deleted or archived 90 days after delivery, depending on project size. Need it kept longer? Let me know before then. A storage fee may apply. Download and back up your files.
Ownership and usage
  • Your license: once paid in full, you can use your final videos on your own channels, website, and ads, for as long as you like.
  • What I keep: I keep the copyright and the raw footage, unless you buy the raw footage add-on.
  • Portfolio: I may feature select projects in my portfolio. Let me know in writing before your shoot if yours needs to stay private.
  • Liability: my total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid for the project.

These policies summarize your agreement. You'll sign the full agreement before your date is booked, and it's the final word if anything differs. Read the full terms and policies.
